Dr. Gutman earned her Doctor of Psychology degree from the Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology (GIPP) at the University of Hartford in 2002. Following her doctoral program, she completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation at New York University Langone Medical Center’s Rusk Institute. Following the completion of her fellowship, she remained on staff at the Rusk Institute. As part of her clinical training, Dr. Gutman received extensive training in individual and group psychotherapy as part of patients’ post cognitive impairment as well as cognitive remediation. In addition to her doctoral degree, she has earned a master’s degree in forensic psychology.
Presently, Dr. Gutman maintains a full-time clinical practice. She works as a consulting neuropsychologist to The Stamford Hospital as well as various public and private schools in the state of Connecticut. Dr. Gutman is licensed in both the state of Connecticut and New York. Dr. Gutman has also taught at the Hunter College/Graduate Center of City University of New York.
